BRHT80 — high-tensile butyl reclaim rubber

Butyl reclaim for compounds that have to hold air. Made for inner tubes, curing bladders and sealing goods, and shipped regularly to compounders in North America.

Butyl is bought for one property above all others: air retention. A butyl reclaim has to carry that property through, or it is not worth the saving. BRHT80 is our high-tensile butyl reclaim, made to sit in air-retention compounds without dragging the permeability figure the wrong way.

It is supplied as slab in 25 kg packing. Tensile is quoted on request against the specific application, because butyl compounds vary more between customers than natural rubber ones do — a bladder compound and a tube compound are asking for different things.

Butyl reclaim is one of the grades that moves most on export. If you are compounding outside India, our export desk quotes FOB Mundra or Hazira and can start you on a single-pallet trial before a full container.

Where it is used

  • Inner tube compounds
  • Curing bladders and envelopes
  • Sealing and gasket compounds
  • Inner liner compounds where butyl loading is high
  • Pharmaceutical and industrial closures

Questions buyers ask
Why is the tensile quoted on request?

Butyl compounds differ more between customers than natural rubber ones. We quote against your application rather than publish a single number that may not describe what you need.

Does it affect air retention?

That is the property BRHT80 is built around. Tell us the application and the permeability target you must hold and we will advise the loading. No formulation details needed.

Do you export butyl reclaim?

Yes, regularly — North America is an established route for this grade. We quote FOB Mundra or Hazira.

Can I trial a small quantity?

Yes. Single-pallet trials are normal before a first container.
