NRM natural rubber reclaim — 80, 70 and 40
Three tensile levels of natural rubber reclaim, so the compound pays for exactly the performance it needs. NRM80 at 8 MPa, NRM70 at 7 MPa and NRM40 at 4–5 MPa, all in slab form.
NRM is the working range: the grades most compounds actually run on. The choice between them is an economic one. Buy the tensile the specification needs, not more — over-specifying reclaim is one of the quietest ways a compound loses money.
| Grade | Tensile | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| NRM80 | 8 MPa | Tyre compounds and technical goods with a real tensile requirement |
| NRM70 | 7 MPa | General tyre, belting, hose and moulded goods |
| NRM40 | 4–5 MPa | Cost-led compounds, mats, tiles, sheet and general moulded rubber |
All three are made from truck tyre tread, screened and tested at intake, processed and then tested again before packing. They are supplied as slabs in 25 kg packing, and custom tensile targets between these steps can be made to order.
If you are not sure which one your compound should be on, tell us the application and the properties you must hold. You do not need to share your formulation. In most cases the honest answer is a lower grade than the buyer expected, with a small formulation adjustment.
Where it is used
- Tyre compounds — carcass, sidewall and bead area mixes
- Conveyor belting and V-belts
- Hoses, mats, tiles and sheet rubber
- Moulded technical rubber goods
- Footwear compounds
Batch-wise test values and a COA travel with every consignment.
Ask for the datasheetWhich NRM grade should I start with?
Start from the property you must hold, not from the grade name. Tell us the application and your target tensile and elongation and we will suggest the grade and a starting loading — no formulation details needed.
Can you make a tensile between two grades?
Yes, custom tensile targets are made to order, subject to a minimum quantity.
What is the packing?
Slab form in 25 kg packing, palletised for container loading on export orders.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. NR reclaim moves regularly to West Africa and other markets, FOB Mundra or Hazira.
